• You must have a Hastings Federal Credit Union checking account in good standing and complete an application to receive a VISA Debit Card.  All accounts are subject to verification.

SHARES/SAVINGS
Your share deposit of $5.00 establishes your credit union membership.  Share accounts are insured with NCUA up to $100,000.  Dividends are paid on a monthly basis.  Statements are on a quarterly basis.

SHARE DRAFT/CHECKING
Hastings Federal Credit Union offers share draft/checking accounts to all our members.  Opening deposits must cover the cost of the checks ordered.  All checks are duplicate type.  Monthly statements will be mailed to the member on a timely basis. 

CHRISTMAS CLUB
This club account is designed for the member who wishes to set aside money for their holiday purchases.  Deposits may be done through payroll deduction or over-the-counter in any fixed amount and will be available on October 1st.  Dividends are paid monthly on this account.

SHARE CERTIFICATES
Share certificates are a safe way to invest your money for a set amount of time with a higher rate than regular savings.  We currently offer 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and 1 year. 

IRA
We offer Traditional IRA's, Roth IRA's and Educational IRA's.  You may deposit in lump sums or through payroll deductions.  What an easy and painless way to save for your retirement and enjoy tax savings at the same time.  We also accept transfer monies from a 401(k) or other pension funds should you change jobs or are terminated into an IRA account.

PEE WEE PENGUIN ACCOUNTS
The Pee Wee Penguin Young Savers' Club is designed to teach children the valuable lessons of saving in a fun way.  This savings program is open to youngsters 12 and under.  A minimum deposit of $5.00 starts the accounts, with no membership fee.  The accounts earn dividends on a monthly basis and a drawing is held quarterly for prizes.

SHARE SECURED
The balance in your share account is the collateral.  A hold is put on the balance that secures the loan.  Your shares continue to earn dividends while being pledged as collateral.

MEMBER LOAN
No collateral is required.  Amount of loan determined by individual credit worthiness.

NEW AND USED VEHICLE AND MOTORCYCLE LOANS
Rates on these loans are determined by individual credit worthiness and length is at the discretion of the loan officer and the amount financed.  Proof of value is determined by the blue book value guides.

NEW AND USED RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
This includes 4-wheelers, boats, campers, and RV's.  Proof of value is determined from dealer purchase agreement and/or blue book value guides.  Length of loan is at the discretion of the loan officer and the amount financed.

HOME EQUITY LOANS
Amount is 80% of equity. Collateral for this type of loan is your home.  Loans are determined by individual credit worthiness.

MORTGAGE LOANS
Available for purchasing a new home or to refinance your current mortgage.  We offer competitive terms and rates.
